Nicco Park, Kolkata. The MiG sports dual roundels – reminiscent of the late 60s style.

The aircraft was formally inaugurated by the AOC-in-C, Eastern Command, Air Marshal Pranob Kumar Barbora on October 13, 2008. The gifting of the aircraft to the park is one of the rare ocassions when a private organisation was provided a warbird for preservation. The strings attached to this gift by the IAF are not known.

The MiG has been painted in the familiar grey-green dual tone paint scheme and has roundels both in front and on the rear parts of the fuselage. It hasn’t been possible to identify the aircraft as now visible markings are painted anywhere on the fuselage
