Hindustan Times reports that the Punjab Engineering College will be handing over the historic Kanpur I airframe , which was in their collection for decades to the new upcoming “IAF Heritage Center” in Chandigarh.
Dar Ovais writes that the handover will be done on November 11th at the PEC and the formal transfer to the IAF will be done.

Previously the PEC had given the Spitfire XVIII it had in its collection back to the Indian Air Force .
