Aeroplane Monthly published a three page illustrated report on the Benares Hurricane’s Post Restoration First Flight. The report also carried for the first time two pictures of the Hurricane during its recovery from Varanasi. The photographs shows the amazing state of the Hurricane which is complete in all aspects. The only parts missing are the wooden doghouse behind the armor plate and the stringers in the rear fuselage.
This issue is a “Must Get” on our shopping list.
