When the last of the MiG-27M’s was built, it was originally numbered as TS665. Subsequently underwent mid-life upgrades and was renumbered to TU-665. The aircraft flew till its retirement in 2019.



Subsequently, this airframe was spotted on a truck being sent to an unknown destination – as reported by Twitter user RomeoKilo18
The aircraft’s final destination is St Kabir Public School in Chandigarh city. St Kabir Public School, Chandigarh is an un-aided, co-educational Sikh Minority School, established in 1974. It is being run by the Kabir Educational Society (a Government Registered Body). The school is affiliated to the Central Board of Secondary Education.



The aircraft has been pole mounted in front of the school and given a makeover in terms of a fresh coat of paint. The original paint scheme and markings have been lost in the bargain.
