CHHINDWARA: The debris of an
Army Dakota plane that crashed in 1938 have been found recently near village Ambadi under
Sausar tehsil in Chhindwara district of Madhya Pradesh.The Dakota plane belonged to the
Army at that time and was used for carrying mail to Kamptee near Nagpur in Maharashtra
when it crashed. The debris got noticed after they were washed ashore in the recent
floods. Officials that there were reports of people in surrounding areas having sold off
scrap iron by cutting it from the plane.
