Dakota took off from Ambala and went missing for 30 years. discovered in 1980

22 ground staff from Ambala AFS were also in the aircraft.

The Wreckage was first located in June 80, after which some remains , mostly skeletons were recovered from the site in August 80. A Joint funeral was conducted to the 25 personnel on June 11, 1981.
